About Me:

I bought my first computer in 1985. It was a Compaq Portable (aka Luggable) with an 8088 processor. A big deal at the time, DOS and all! I haven’t been without a computer since.

After high school, I studied electronics. Later, I graduated from the University of Houston where I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Manufacturing.

I have worked in the electronics / computer fields for 9 plus years and have gained valuable experience. I started as an Avionics technician installing Avionics and entertainment systems on corporate jets. Then I worked for Compaq for about four years.

After leaving Compaq I went back to school. Shortly after graduating from U of H, a mid-sized law firm contracted me to facilitate a software upgrade. I was soon hired as that firm’s IT Manager / Network Administrator. I handled all their IT needs from vendors to network installation.

Through my variety of experience, I have had the good fortune to become acquainted with some genuine experts in the computer industry. I am grateful to those that have shared their knowledge and experience with me. In November of 2002 I started my own consulting business. I now offer my years of experience to small business and those with home offices.
